Terms & Conditions for Peru
Fam Rates
Following terms and
conditions are applicable to any booking to destination
Peru (including combination of other countries with
Peru). Any travel agent or client who books a service
with Sunny Land Tours will be subject to the following
terms and conditions, and a payment (when processed) for
any travel arrangement shall constitute a client’s and
or travel agents’ absolute consent to all the provisions
listed herewith:
Reservations and
Payments: A non-refundable $200 per person
deposit is required at time of booking (for programs
featuring a cruise non-refundable deposit is $300).
Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure (for
programs featuring a cruise final payment is due 90 days
prior to departure). If Sunny Land is required to issue
airline tickets, in certain cases additional
non-refundable deposits may be required to meet
airlines' ticketing deadlines.
Air Transportation:
Peru Fam trips featured are on land-only basis. If
Sunny Land is required to issue tickets for
participants, flights can be on any IATA airline, which
cannot be held responsible for any act, omission, or
event during the time passengers are not on board their
aircraft. Sunny Land tours reserves the right to choose
the airline per each program. Sunny Land Tours has no
control over flight schedule changes, fare or tax
increases; therefore any fare or tax increases will be
reflected until the time of ticketing. Sunny Land Tours
will not and cannot handle individual requests
pertaining to air transportation including but not
limited to seat assignments, special meals, frequent
flyer miles or similar. All such requests must be
handled directly between the passenger and the
respective airline. Luggage is at traveler’s risk unless
insured.
Documentation: A
valid passport with 7 months of validity from point of
entry is required of U.S. citizens for travel. If the
traveler is a non-US citizen, it is the traveler’s
responsibility to obtain necessary documentation and/or
applicable visas prior to departure.
Travel Insurance:
Sunny Land Tours offers and recommends the purchase of
Travel Insurance. A Trip Interruption and Travel
Insurance Policy is available on optional basis through
Sunny Land Tours by paying a premium at the time of
deposit payment. Please ask for the travel insurance at
the time of the booking.
Cancellation:
Deposits and final payments are non-refundable.
Unused tour features are neither refundable nor
exchangeable once the tour is in progress.
Transfers and
Sightseeing: A complete program is offered
throughout each tour packages as shown within the
itineraries. Entrance fees to places of interest as well
as lunches on full day outings where specified are
included in the tour cost. For a-la-carte (custom
designed) arrangements, you as the traveler have the
control and the responsibility to tell us which transfer
and sightseeing services you would like included.
Tour guides: The
services of competent local guides and hosts are
provided on all multi day tour programs when specified.
Sunny Land Tours offers locally hosted packages, that
means that you may have different guides in locations
you are visiting.
Tipping:
Personal tipping is left at passenger’s discretion. Our
guides and drivers in Peru are very competent, and it is
recommended that you show your appreciation for their
services with a $3 to $5 per person per day tipping.
Not included: Tour
prices do not include items not specified above: such as
passport or visa costs if applicable, meals that are not
included in tour, tips, laundry, mineral water, excess
baggage, and items of purely personal nature. Shipping
cost of your travel documents are not included. Peru has
a government determined departure tax (of about $25, and
subject to change without notice), and it is the
clients’ responsibility to pay that locally at the time
of departure from Peru.
Refunds and Claims:
No refund can be considered or given for any absence
from the tour or the package vacation arrangement or any
unused services or meals, once the tour or the vacation
arrangement has commenced and is en route unless special
arrangements have been made at time of booking. Any and
all claims for refund are to be made only to the booking
office, as no agents, representatives, guides, or any
other persons, are authorized to make or promise to make
any change or alteration of the official conditions and
regulations. No claim can be considered if not made
within 21 days from completion of tour. No claim can be
considered if it is not accompanied by a completed
service adjustment coupon or written authorization from
our overseas representatives, and/or hotels.
Alteration: Sunny
Land Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter the
content of a tour or a vacation package should
conditions make this necessary. In this event, the best
possible alternative will be offered and a proportional
refund made as appropriate, at the discretion of Sunny
Land Tours..
Tour Performance
Warranty: If for any reason within our control,
Sunny Land Tours fails to provide any service, hotel,
cruise, meal, or transportation as outlined in the final
itinerary,
an appropriate refund will be issued to the client upon
presentation of a completed service adjustment coupon or
written authorization from our overseas representatives.
No claim can be considered if not made within 21 days
from completion of tour..
Travel Agent and
Companion Conduct: Sunny Land Tours, Inc, offers fam-trips
and fam-rates to travel agents and their companions and
spouses as a privilege. Sunny Land Tours and its
operating partners require travel agents and their
companions to conduct themselves in a professional and
courteous manner during the entire trip. Agent
accepts to participate in these offerings with the
understanding that the agent and/or the companion may be
bumped or sent home before the completion of the trip in
case unacceptable and disruptive behavior is displayed
by the agent or the companion, and not corrected upon
warning.
Responsibility and
Liability: Sunny Land Tours, Inc, in operating these
land arrangements is responsible to the tour
participants for supplying the services and
accommodations offered to the participants as stated in
the brochure. Sunny Land Tours, Inc., as tour operator,
disclaims all liability for loss, damage or injury
sustained in connection with services and accommodations
provided by railroads, bus operators, local sight-seeing
companies, tour operators, steamship companies,
airlines, hotels and lodging facilities, all operating
under the laws of the country in which these services
are provided. The right to alter any land tour
arrangement is reserved. Flights (when applicable) are
offered on IATA carriers, which cannot be held
responsible for any act, omission or event during the
time passengers, are not on board their aircraft. Cruise
tickets when issued, constitute the sole contract
between the carrier and the passenger. The carriers
concerned are not in any event responsible for any act,
omission or event, occurring during the time passengers
are not aboard their plane, vessels or other
conveyances. All rates are subject to change without
prior notice.
