DAY 1   USA to CAIRO
Evening departure from JFK on a non stop Egypt Air flight to Cairo.  In flight meals, snacks, and drinks served during the flight.

DAY 2  Arrive CAIRO
Arrive in Cairo.  After customs and immigration, our representatives will meet and greet you, assist with your luggage and transfer you to the Pyramids View Hote in Cairo. In the afternoon you will visit the famous Egyptian Museum where archaeological pieces dating as far back as 3000 BC are in exhibit; you will see the famous treasure of King Tut-ank-amon. You will also visit the Alabaster Mosque, the Coptic District, and the Ancient Citadel which was built in 1176. Dinner on your own. 

DAY 3  CAIRO
Today, you will have a full day excursion with lunch, visiting the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You will drive around the Pyramid of Chephren, the Pyramid of Cheops (also known as the Great Pyramid or Khufu), and the Pyramid of Mykerinos. You will have time to walk around  Cheops, and take pictures. Then visit the Sphinx, the collasal one-piece sandstone man-headed lion-bodied statue. Then continue to Memphis, the capital of Old Kingdom; and then Sakkara, to visit the Step Pyramid, the first monumental stone structure in Ancient Egypt.  Evening tranfer to railway station for F/C Sleeper train to Aswan. Note: Passengers who booked the optional Abu Simbel excursion ($249) will spend the night in Cairo and flly early morning to visit the Temples of Abu Simbel, before returning to Aswan by Air to join the Cruise. (Meals B-L- Dinner on sleeper train)

DAY 4  Abu Simbel / ASWAN

Today, you will havethe option to visit Abu Simbel including round trip air.  Abu Simbel is considered to be one of the most impressive sites in Egypt. Here you will visit the two temples built by Ramses II as a high-architect before he became a Pharaoh.

The 100 foot high Great Temple is world famous, which features 4 statues of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari, each 65 foot high. Next to the Great Temple is the temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Both temples were originally carved in a mountain. In 1965 they were moved 600 feet and raised 65 feet, thanks to an international project to save themfrom the flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam. Transfer to MS Crocodile for a memorable 4 Day Nile Cruise. Upon arrival in Aswan,, you can stay and relax on the boat, or if you purchased our Optional Excursions package** visit the Aswan Philae Temple, Aswan Dam; unfinished Obelisk and sail around Elephantine Island. (Meals B-L-D)

DAY 5  ASWAN /KOM OMBO / Edfu / ESNA  (Cruise)
Today,after breakfast if you purchased our Optional Excursions package** you will have a guided visits to the temples at the temples at Kom Ombo. Continue sailing to Edfu upon arrival in Edfu, if you purchased our Optional Excursions package** visit the temples of Isis and Osiris a fun excursion begins first by taking a horse-drawn-carriage ride in Edfu, and then visiting the Edfu Temples. Later in the afternoon we will cross the locks on the Nile in Esna -providing a fun and small scale canal-crossing experience. Dinner and lunch on board the cruise boat. This evening continue to sail north to Luxor. (Meals B-L-D)

DAY 6   LUXOR (Cruise) 

 In Luxor Optional Excursions package** to visit the West Bank of the Nile with Thebes, Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens and Collossi of Memnon. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.  (Meals B-L-D) 

DAY 7  LUXOR / Hurghada
Optional Excursions package** to Luxor & Karnak Temples. Afternoon transfer to moderate first class beach resort in Hurghada.(Meals B,L,D)

DAY 8  Hurghada
Optional Submarine Reef Exploration $70 per person. A fantastic underwater trip for 90 minutes to discover the wonderful marine life of the Red Sea. (Meals B,L,D)

DAY 9 Hurghada/ CAIRO 

Transfer to the airport for return flight to Cairo.  Upon arrival transfer to OasisHotel in Cairo.  Rest of the day is free at leisure and shopping in Cairo.  (B)

DAY 10 CAIRO / HOME
Transfer to Cairo airport for flight back home to the U.S.  (B)
